I seem to spend a lot of time looking for patterns where there are none. Look at this chart for a perfect example – evidence if you like – that if the market is not trending, it is mean reverting.

Moves outside the Bolli Bands are an indication that a (non-trending) market has strayed too far from the mean and is likely to start to move back towards it.

Mean reversion is often the path of least resistance. My trading style is to take breaks of KLs and TLs unless the market is at one of SUP or RES levels. That is why I get absolutely crucified in PA like this.

TRADE PLAN: don’t trade if (1) my levels are nowhere in sight (2) the market is inside the 3Min Bollis and (3) the 169 is running through the middle
